Industrias Cannon de Colombia S.A. was established in the city of Barranquilla in 1962 as a transformer of home textile. At that time their work was limited to purchasing towels, which were printed, confectioned, packed and commercialized in the local market.

After establisheing their own weaving facility in 1986, Industrias Cannon initiates their exporting endeavor, with 7.000 square meters plant where 12 rappier looms produced 20 tons of towels per month. Today, white more than 55.000 square meters, distributed in 3 modern plants, Cannon produces 800 tons of towels per month, 80% of which are exported to more than 20 countries in Europe, South, Central and North America.

PACKING

We develop different types of packing according to our customers needs, always keeping in mind best shipping costs. We offer packed products in poly bags, poly ethylene or poly propylene bags, as well as carton boxes and palletizing.

TECHNOLOGY AND CAPACITY

With a stock of 2.000 tons of cotton yarn, cannon guarantees its supply or raw materials and the same time the continuos supply of terry towels for all its clients. As a part of its productive process, Industrias Cannon prepares 20 billion meters of yarn monthly, in order to support its 107 modern air jet dornier looms, which produce 1.125kg per hour.

By means of sophisticated air conditioning and cleaning system, we control the enviromental conditions of our weaving rooms, optimizing the performance of employees and raw materials. With its continuous dyeing (pad batch) gear and its 19 dyeing machines, Cannon has the capacity to simultaneously dye the same number of colors for greater versatility and responding capacity.
They also have automatic tailoring equipment that allows then to cut
and sew 110.000 towels daily and equipment that quickl folds
and packs accordingly to their clients needs. Today, this has
made Industrias Cannon one of the most modern loop
factories in america.
